Complete a Task

Every task on your Dashboard is a form the organiser needs you to fill in, anything from your company details to booth requirements to a logo upload.

1.  From your Sponsor Dashboard, click the task you want to work on under Your Tasks
2.  Work through each step shown on screen
3.  Click Next to move to the next step, or Save & continue later to step away and pick up where you left off
4.  After completing all steps, click Review submission to send the form to the organiser

Note: Your progress is saved automatically as you go, so you won't lose anything if you close the tab partway through. Save & continue later gives you an explicit way to step away without needing to finish a step first.

Tasks don't need to be done in order

You can complete your tasks in whatever order suits you. If you're not ready to answer something in one task, move on to another and come back later.

Adding multiple entries within a task

Some tasks ask for the same type of information more than once, for example details for two or three speakers, or several booth staff. Where this applies, you'll see an option such as Add another, letting you add as many entries as you need. There's no set minimum or maximum number of entries documented for this at the moment. Add as many as the task actually needs.

If you run into a limit while doing this, let the organiser know.

Uploading files, logos, and images

Where a step asks for a file, logo, or image, click the upload area and select the file from your device. Accepted file types and any size limits will be shown on the step itself, since these can vary depending on what the organiser is asking for.

If you upload an image to a step that isn't required, you can remove it afterwards. For example, if you want to replace it or leave the step blank instead.

Download files from the organisers

Some tasks carry a file from the organiser instead of asking you to upload one. For example, terms, a code of conduct, or setup instructions. Where this applies, you'll see the file attached directly to the step: Click Download to save the file to your device, or click Open to view it in a new tab without leaving the task.

Note: These files are for your reference and don't count toward your task's progress. You can't upload or change them, only view or save them.

Submit a Task

Once you've completed every step, click Review submission. This is your last chance to check everything over before it goes to the organiser, so take a moment to confirm your answers and uploaded files are correct.

Once submitted, the task moves out of Need your input and into With organiser on your Dashboard, and its status updates from your side to reflect that it's now been submitted.

Note: You're not locked out of a task once it's submitted. If you notice something you'd like to update, you can go back in and edit your responses at any time, even while it's still with the organiser for review. You don't need to wait for them to request changes first.

What Happens After You Submit

Once a task is with the organiser, one of three things happens:

•  They approve it. The task is complete, and no further action is needed from you.
•  They ask a question. The organiser has a specific query, for example confirming a print dimension on an uploaded file, without needing you to redo the whole task. You can respond directly, and the task stays as-is until the organiser follows up with an approval or a change request.
•  They request changes. The task is sent back to you for revision (see below).

All three show up in your Need your input widget, so that's always the right place to check if you're not sure whether something needs your attention.

Respond to a Question or a Change Request

If the organiser has asked a question or requested changes, you can get to the task either from the Need your input widget on your Dashboard, or by opening it directly from Your Tasks. Once you're inside, what you do next depends on which one it is.

If it's a question

You'll see a reply box attached to the task, showing what the organiser has asked. Type your reply directly there. You don't need to edit your responses or resubmit anything unless the organiser specifically asks you to.

If it's a change request

The task has been sent back to you for revision, and you'll need to update and resubmit it:

1.  Open the task
2.  Click Edit responses
3.  Use Next and Previous to navigate to the specific response that needs updating. You'll be directed straight to the relevant fields rather than having to work through the whole task again
4.  Make your changes, then continue clicking Next until Review submission appears
5.  Click Review submission to resubmit

FAQs

Do I need to finish a task in one sitting?

No. Your progress saves automatically as you go, and you can use Save & continue later at any point to step away. Come back whenever you're ready and pick up where you left off.

Can I go back and change something after I've submitted?

Yes. You can edit your responses at any time, even while the task is still with the organiser for review. You don't need to wait for them to request changes first. Open the task from your Dashboard and use Edit responses to make your update.

What happens if my task's due date passes before I've submitted?

Nothing locks, and you don't lose any progress. You can still complete and submit the task as normal.

How do I know if something needs my attention?

Check the Need your input widget on your Dashboard. It covers new tasks, tasks sent back for changes, and any direct questions from the organiser, all in one place.

How do I respond to a question from the organiser?

A reply box appears attached to the task, showing what's been asked. Type your reply there directly. There's no need to edit your responses or resubmit unless the organiser asks you to.

What if the organiser requests changes instead of asking a question?

Open the task and click Edit responses. You'll be directed straight to the specific fields that need updating, then click Review submission to resubmit.

What if I'm not sure which file format or size to upload?

Accepted formats and size limits are shown on the upload step itself, since they can vary by task. If you're still unsure, check with the organiser.

Can someone else on my team help complete a task?

Yes. See Invite a Colleague in Getting Started as a Sponsor or Exhibitor for how to invite a teammate.

What if I need to update something after the organiser has already approved it?

Contact the event organiser directly. See Getting Help in Sponsor FAQ and Troubleshooting for the full breakdown of when to contact the organiser versus Jomablue support.

Why does one of my steps have nothing to fill in?

Some steps are informational rather than a question, used by the organiser to share things like a welcome message, terms, or setup instructions. They're shown differently from the rest so it's clear no response is needed, and they don't count toward your progress bar.

Can I download or open a file the organiser has added to my task?

Yes. Where the organiser has attached a file directly to a step, you'll see the option to Download it to your device or Open it in a new tab. These files are for your reference; you can't upload or replace them.

Can I remove an image I've uploaded?

Yes, if the step isn't required. You can remove an uploaded image to replace it or leave the step blank. Steps marked as required will need a valid image before you can move on.
